This is the code I used for the LibraryThing widget in my sidebar. You should copy it exactly, but…

1.  be sure to change the username to your own!
2. delete the spaces at the beginning of Line 4 so that Line 4 becomes part of Line 3. There should be a total of 5 lines, not 6.
   

On today's menu:

1. Juppun ha juubun
2. Lists (Tsugecchi)
   
3. Comments: please look at the group member list, then visit at least 5 members' blogs and comment on them
4. LibraryThing: log into LibraryThing. Look for any messages, and ACCEPT the invitation to the group. Add some more books. Take a look at other members' libraries. If possible, add a LibraryThing widget to your Vox sidebar.
   

Let's use tags consistently in our group, because then it will be easy for everyone to find similar posts.

Tags that you need to use regularly include:

• book reviews
• juppun ha juubun
• lists

Other tags that I suggest are:

• vocabulary
• diary
  

Spelling is important! And remember that you need to separate tags with commas.

How to

Hi everyone, please send me your Vox address (URL) if you have't already, then look out for my email and join the group.

Today, it's important that you sign up for Vox if you didn't manage to last week. And everyone needs to tell me their Vox URL, which is of the form http://________.vox.com. If you log in to Vox and click "You", your URL will appear in the address bar.

It's also important that you obtain a Gmail address if you didn't last week, because I will use this to contact you. So you need to tell me your Gmail address, too.

I have made a special form for you to fill in. If you have a Gmail address, you need to tell me it. If you don't have one yet, you tell me your desired username and password, and I will make one for you. There is also a place to fill in your Vox URL.

I will be busy during today's class helping people who have problems, so I may not have time to guide other students. So please do lots of writing in your blog. Some ideas:

• a self-introduction (Remember: if your name is Hikaru Utada, write Hikaru U.)
• My First 10 Days at PUK
• a book review
• a movie, DVD, or TV show review

Remember that you need to write at least 3 posts each week (each week starts on Friday and ends on Thursday), including at least 1 book review. I'll check all your blogs on approximately May 1st and expect to find 3 weeks' worth of posts, i.e. a minimum of 9 posts, including 3 book reviews.
